well not relate exactly like you but today i ground second AND third gear today :c
second is pretty easy to grind in because of syncros being 40 years old so you have to shift real slow so i don't sweat it a lot if it does happen
but third NOPE NOPE NOPE I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING I CAN DRIVE STICK I SHOULDN'T GRIND ANY GEARS anyway sometimes it can be difficult to shift into third and will want to go into fifth and that's what happened but instead of thinking and just keeping it in fifth and downshifting back into third i whipped it out of fifth and went straight back into third GRIND GRIND CHRUCNCHEFHUESFSDF JERJSJKERSKKSEKEKSKDFfZASDDS *accurate representation of the sounds it made
anyway it made me sad that i hurt my car that much :c
at least i have a whole spare trans laying in a shed

The Sonic has this quirk where if you really get on it after it's been sitting for a while it tends to grind into second. Makes me look like an idiot on my first run at autocross every damn time.
